Stumbled across this–a hibiscus cultivar with the same name, that won the #2 Seedling of the Year award in the 2023 cycle, from Matt and Barbara Martindale in Florida.
Sent a message via their website to ask about the naming. Will update when I hear back, but may need to get one next spring just because of the name!
