Really Good Day

Last night was Evanna's first night on the new bipap settings. They lowered the exhale pressure a tiny bit but drastically reduced the back up rate (breaths per minute). I don't know if it was a fluke, but she slept so much better, woke up earlier, and was in a great mood all day.

It took forever, but she ate an entire small pancake and two ounces of chocolate milk for breakfast...245 calories, or nearly 25% of her daily calories.

Later she was having fun making faces. She said this was her happy face.

This is her angry face. It doesn't look very angry even with the cute growl. (I did see her real angry face during breakfast when she didn't want to eat more nor did she want me to take her plate.)

This is her pouty face. She was also scouting around in her bottom and dragging her cup of chocolate milk around between her ankles.l, which I thought was a great solution to how to carry your cup when you must use both hands to travel.

She also got to enjoy a couple of walks with Scott and saw several dogs... Her favorite walking activity.

After dinner (which she ate maybe a third), she helped lick the frosting for the chocolate cake I made after eating some of the cake scraps from leveling the layers.

She was ready for her bedtime routine shortly after the frosting.
